Alberta Central was recently recognized as one of Alberta’s Top 75 Employers for 2023 – for the fifth year in a row!
The award, organized annually by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, recognizes Alberta employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. The selection process involves employers being evaluated based on eight criteria: Workplace; Work Atmosphere & Social; Health, Financial & Family Benefits; Vacation & Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training & Skills Development; and Community Involvement.
Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs and Alberta Central is honoured to be selected again for 2023!
Here are some of the reasons why Alberta Central was selected:
- Investment in current and future generations with tuition subsidies for job-related courses and academic scholarships for children of employees.
- A Flex Place program which includes flexible hours and hybrid work options for working up to two days at home each week and a $250 reimbursement for home office costs.
- Three weeks of starting vacation allowance as well as a vacation purchase program, allowing full- and part-time employees to purchase up to five days of additional vacation per year.
