Loree Gray, Alberta Central’s Chief Strategy, Transformation and People Officer.

As part of Alberta Central’s continued organizational evolution and long term strategy, we are pleased to announce Loree Gray will be joining our organization June 22, 2020 as Chief Strategy, Transformation and People Officer. In this role, Loree will be leading the ongoing transformation of Alberta Central. Specifically, she will be a strong change agent who will help implement the methodologies, programs and processes needed to help achieve our vision. Loree will be critical in helping strike the right balance between short-term improvement and long-term success. She will proactively identify issues and build relationships and support structures to effectively execute our strategies.

A visionary and collaborative leader, Loree is passionate about driving transformative change. Her exceptional background includes more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She comes to Alberta Central most recently from the Vehicle Sales Authority (VSA) of BC where she was the President and CEO. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the corporate strategy and overall operations of the organization. Prior to that she was Senior Vice-President (SVP) at First West Insurance Services Ltd., responsible for strategy development and execution of the consolidation of three independent regions (Valley First, Envision Financial and Island Savings) and developing a roadmap to ensure the organization was ready for future challenges. She also held the position of SVP, Operations with First West Savings where she was committed to creating efficiency and standardization in business processes supporting retail and commercial banking, wealth management and insurance services within a network of 56 branches. Previous roles also saw her in leadership positions with HSBC Bank Canada and TD Bank Financial Group.

Loree holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia, is a Certified Executive Lean Director, Certified Financial Planner and is in the process of completing her Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program.
