Small business owners have until November 8 to apply for a $25,000 grant

Alberta Central is committed to supporting small businesses grow and thrive throughout the province. For the second year in a row, Alberta Central is pleased to announce the Big Future Innovation Grant is available for Alberta-based small businesses who remain committed to serving their communities through growth and innovation.

The Big Future Innovation Grant, a grant created for innovative small businesses, invites Alberta-based small business owners and entrepreneurs to apply to win one of two $25,000 grants to put towards their business’ financial future. Small hard-working businesses in Alberta deserve an opportunity to be awarded this grant to support their growth and innovation.

The initiative is put on by Alberta Central, the central banking facility and trade association for the province’s credit unions. Alberta Central, alongside its member credit unions, knows and appreciates the value of small businesses and wants to support their continued growth and innovation.

The application deadline has been extended until November 8th at 11:59 pm. A judging panel, including the 2020 Big Future Innovation Grant winner, Dr. Nikhil Joshi, Founder and CEO of Clinical Trial Hero, will be judging the five finalists with winners announced in early 2022. Time is of the essence for small Alberta businesses to apply!
